While she’s far from the end of her tale at Brafton, all the different chapters have led her to where she’s at right now: serving as a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist.

Chapter 1: Mastering Management and Customer Support
In every good plot, there’s a defining coming-of-age exposition that weaves together the moments that shape the protagonist into who they’re meant to be. For Daiany, that started when she went to school. In high school, she studied graphic communications and, later, got a degree in marketing and advertising at Universidade Paulista (UNIP) in Brazil.
During university, she realized she excels at organization and managing people, which led her to work in customer service upon graduation. These experiences taught her how to listen to what people need, get to the root of their issues and come up with solutions that improve the situation now and long into the future. Little did she know that these skills would come in handy once she started working in the marketing industry.
Before Brafton, she worked as a Customer Support Agent for an international online casino and then as the Brazil Country Manager at the same company. But, like any great story, growth comes with a turning point. While Daiany was thriving in customer support and leadership roles, she found herself excited about something new, which led her to LinkedIn and Brafton.
Chapter 2: Finding Brafton
One thing that can be said about Daiany is that she’s not afraid to try anything at least once. She was hired in 2022 as an HR Assistant, then moved into a Recruitment Coordinator role, spending two years in HR overall. She made connections with talented individuals and walked them through the hiring and onboarding process to set them up for success.
“Finding Brafton honestly felt like coming full circle for me. I was raised on the South Shore of Massachusetts,” she said. “I moved to the U.S. from Brazil when I was five and completed all my schooling in Weymouth, MA (Go Wildcats!).”
While HR gave her valuable experience, Daiany felt herself drawn back to her creative roots and passion for marketing, which had started long before her formal education. She realized she could combine her problem-solving skills with her background in graphic communications and advertising to make a more strategic impact with clients. By exploring internal opportunities at Brafton, she was able to flex her marketing muscles and align her career with her true interests, turning a moment of reflection into a purposeful pivot that set the stage for her current role.
Chapter 3: Stepping Into the Strategic Spotlight
Due to her extensive experience working in customer experience, she thought the path to working in marketing had passed her by. For a time, it felt like she had already carved her lane, and that pivoting into a new discipline might not be in the cards. However, as she gained exposure to different teams and responsibilities, she realized how transferable her skills really were, and how much value her unique perspective could bring to a marketing role.
When asked how she got into this style of work in the first place, she said that it found her rather than the other way around. “When I first joined Brafton, I never imagined I’d have the opportunity to work in marketing,” she said. “Brafton ended up reopening that door for me.”
After becoming an HR maestro, she was ready to dip her toes into the world of analytics. She transitioned to the data team as a Digital Marketing Associate, where she assisted with planning, executing and optimizing online marketing campaigns for a variety of brands. After exploring the Project Manager role for a few months, she returned to the data team in a senior-level position.
Her ultimate lightbulb moment came after she had the chance to test out several different roles and discover where she fit best. “I realized I had found my place when I saw that I could be a bit of a behind-the-scenes nerd and still thrive in marketing,” she said.
Today, she’s flourishing as a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist, blending her analytical expertise with a creative approach to help clients grow. Her journey reflects not only a mastery of new skills but also the courage to embrace unexpected opportunities. She continues to mentor others navigating their own career pivots, sharing the insight that sometimes the right path finds you when you least expect it.
“Working at Brafton has truly been career-changing,” she smiled. “It helped me discover a career path I didn’t even know was possible for me, and that’s been incredibly exciting.”
She particularly loves UX, technical work and getting to collaborate across teams, giving her constant chances to learn new skills and contribute wherever possible. She wakes up every day motivated by the variety and challenges in the field. “No two days are the same, and that keeps me constantly engaged,” she said.
Avoiding Plot Holes: Using Daiany’s Tips for Modern Marketing
A marketing strategy can fall apart if you’re not paying attention to the details, or in this case, the data. For Daiany, avoiding plot holes means taking a holistic view of every campaign and leveraging the full spectrum of information available.
By combining analytics from multiple channels, tracking customer behavior and measuring engagement across platforms, every marketing decision is informed by real insights rather than guesswork.
It’s also critical to connect the dots between different datasets. For example, understanding how website traffic, social engagement and email campaign performance impact one another can uncover opportunities that might otherwise go unnoticed. By doing so, you can optimize, refine messaging and identify the tactics that deliver the most impact for your business.
And just remember: “Digital marketing is such a crucial part of modern marketing, and what makes it exciting is how constantly it evolves,” Daiany said. “There’s always something new to learn, which keeps things both challenging and fun.”
Here’s how you can keep your marketing efforts running smoothly:
- Leverage multi-channel analytics: Collect data from every marketing channel to see the complete picture before making decisions.
- Track customer behavior: Observe how users interact across platforms to identify trends, preferences and pain points.
- Measure engagement consistently: Use metrics like click-through rates, time on page and conversion rates to understand which content resonates.
- Connect the dots between datasets: Analyze how website, social media and email preferences influence one another to uncover hidden opportunities.
- Optimize and refine messaging: Use insights to adjust content, tone and targeting for better engagement and ROI.
- Test and iterate: Regularly experiment with new approaches and measure results to continuously improve campaigns.
- Stay updated on trends: Keep up with evolving digital marketing tools and techniques to avoid outdated strategies.
- Make data-informed decisions: Base every campaign choice on measurable insights rather than on assumptions.
And She Rides Off Into the Sunset
Daiany’s story at Brafton is still unfolding, but she does take breaks from work to cuddle her cat, Theadora or hang out with her mom or boyfriend (soon to be fiancé!!). You’ll also find her nose deep in a book or watching her favorite Disney movies (“Pirates of the Caribbean,” to be exact). And while she didn’t provide any sneak peeks, she’s currently 25 chapters in on her very first original romance novel, which we can’t wait to get our hands on.
Even with her writing accolades, she considers her role at Brafton a top feat.
“My biggest accomplishment has been finding a place where I feel valued and where I can build a strong foundation for a promising career,” she said. “I really value the flexibility it offers for work-life balance. The team is full of incredibly talented and supportive people, and the leadership does a great job of recognizing your strengths and giving you space to grow.”
As the marketing world continues to shift, change and grow, Daiany stays one step ahead, using her passion for creative innovation and people to create data-driven, audience-focused campaigns that help brands feel like the heroes to their customers. Her life reflects the same blend of personal joy and professional drive that fuels her success, allowing her to show up as both a skilled marketer and storyteller who truly understands connection.
As she grows at Brafton, it’s clear that it’s only the beginning of her journey, and we’re excited to see what unfolds next.
The end (or is it?).
