Last year, we ran our inaugural AI in Marketing Survey. We wanted to learn more about how businesses and individuals used the technology in their daily workflows, whether organizations supported and encouraged it, who was ahead of the curve with an in-place AI policy, or had plans to create one, and more.

When we wrapped it up and organized the data, we found a lot of the information we were looking for — and lots more we didn’t anticipate. It was so rewarding and insightful that we’re running it back for 2025/2026 to gather even more information from even more marketers.

Why We’re Doing It Again

As a content marketing agency that embraces AI — and that’s building a platform and hybrid strategies to help clients harness its potential — we’re deeply interested in how the technology is and isn’t working for marketers, and how organizations are responding to such rapid change.

Not only does the information we gather through this initiative help inform internal decisions, but it also offers other organizations a reliable source to learn about how AI adoption is progressing, what marketers are struggling with, what they enjoy about AI and, most importantly, how businesses can foster curiosity and transform it into measurable outcomes.

What’s Different About This Year’s Survey

While much of this year’s survey questions and prompts reflect last year’s — which will give us something to benchmark results against — we’ve combed through to make a few improvements. The new edition features fresh questions and answer options, as well as new opportunities to share personal AI anecdotes in your own words. The result is a more comprehensive survey that’s reflective of current AI marketing trends and patterns, but that doesn’t ask for too much of your time to complete (about 5 minutes).

What Comes After

Once the survey closes in early 2026, we’ll take a few weeks to organize, analyze and synthesize our findings. Then, just like last year, we’ll turn that information into helpful blog posts, emails and social media content that’s out there for marketers and decision makers to read, reference and cite and as they please.
